Those are fireworks going off in the background. Fourth of July happens early in Silver Lake.
Technical note: we just had the usual 2 mics in the middle of the table to capture all 7 of our voices. Oddly enough, it seems to have worked.

Definitely one of the funnest podcasts ever! And despite the fact that seven of us were there and only four of us talked (and talked loudly, I might add), it was still a blast. Good times.
